The two decisions that shape everything else

Most house cleaning in California is sold by companies that do not employ the people who turn up. The cleaner is a contractor, sourced through an app or a franchise, and the company in the middle takes a cut for making the introduction. It is a cheaper business to run, and it is why so many quotes are cheap.

We employ our cleaners as W-2 staff. That means payroll tax, workers’ compensation — janitorial is an expensive class — and unemployment insurance on every hour worked. It costs more. It also means we can train people, send the same team back to the same home, run a background check that actually attaches to an employment relationship, and carry the liability ourselves instead of pointing at a contractor when something breaks.

The second decision is the price. We publish it. Every city page on this site shows real numbers for real home sizes, and the quote form gives you a flat figure before anyone comes to your door. No walkthrough, no hourly meter, no phone call where the number depends on how the conversation goes.

What that means for you

• The person cleaning your home is our employee, background-checked and trained before the first visit.
• A recurring plan means the same named team, not whoever the app assigned this week.
• The price you are quoted is the price you pay. It does not change on the day.
• Supplies, equipment and insurance are in the price. There is nothing to top up.
• If a visit is not right, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and re-clean it free.
• No contract. Skip a visit, change frequency, or stop entirely, whenever you like.

What we do not do

We clean homes. Houses, condos, townhomes, apartments and vacation rentals — lived-in, deep, and move in / move out. We are not a janitorial company and we do not clean offices, retail or medical space. If that is what you need, we are the wrong call and we will say so rather than take the job and learn on your floor.

We also do not do anything that needs a licensed trade or specialist equipment: mold remediation, biohazards, pest work, carpet shampooing, pressure washing, or anything above safe ladder reach. Those are real specialties and pretending otherwise is how homes get damaged.

Prices differ by region. The cost of employing a cleaner in San Francisco is not the cost of employing one in Torrance, and we would rather price honestly by area than quote one statewide number and quietly make it up somewhere. Your quote reflects where your home actually is.
